When Justin boasted that he thinks he's "been to every continent", hostDavid Letterman asked him, "How many continents are there?" Responding to the challenge, the 17-year-old pop sensation began to list them one by one. "Asia, North America, South America ...", he said with a brief pause in between. "Um, Africa, Antarctica and the North Pole."

Rather than answering with a number, cocky Justin confidently began to reel off every one, saying: "Asia, North America, South America, erm, Africa, Antarctica and the North Pole. ....."Err, Canada."David interjected: "There are two more, come one. Jennifer Lopez is soaking up the sun in paradise on a Hawaiian getaway and she is not there alone.

The 42-year-old singer celebrated Thanksgiving on the island of Kauai with her twins, other family members and her boy toy boyfriend Casper Smart is rumored to be with her.

"Casper was great with the kids. He was twirling them around and doing flips with Emme and she seemed very comfortable with him," a source tells Us Weekly. "Jennifer got a chance to sit back and relax while Casper took over and played." According to Radar Online, Smart met several of Lopez's family members during the trip.

Lopez, 42, has tried to be coy about her romance with the young backup dancer, telling Ryan Seacrest: "Until I'm in a really serious relationship -- because of the babies -- I'm not really gonna be commenting on my personal life."

Like many a pop star before her, Lady Gaga is debuting her own holiday (mini) record.The 25-year-old digitally released the four-track "A Very Gaga Holiday" on Wednesday, reports Billboard. Below is Gaga's swingy rendition of "White Christmas," the classic that she admits to adding an extra verse to."As you can tell I'm very outgoing," she says. "I've decided that this song is too short, it's such a beautiful Christmas song but it's only one verse, so I added one extra one." She had to make it her own, somehow.The holiday album - on sale for $3.99 via Amazon and iTunes - also includes"Orange Colored Sky," as well as "You and I" and "Edge of Glory." All of the songs are pulled from her ABC Thanksgiving special, "A Very Gaga Thanksgiving," which airs on the network tonight at 9:30.

Singers Avril Lavigne, Cee Lo Green and Mary J Blige performed at the 2011 MaCy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday (24 November, 2011), watched by a wave of spectators who had gathered on the streets of Manhattan to catch a glimpse of the annual festivities.
As well as the star trio, a jetpack-wearing monkey and a freaky balloon designed by filmmaker Tim Burton also made their way around the parade route. In all, the event included more than 40 balloon creations - many based on this year's blockbuster movies - 27 floats, 800 clowns and 1,600 cheerleaders, according to the New York Daily News. Some musical performances came from a stage at the end of the route, in Herald Square, while others were on moving floats. Cee-Lo Green rode a float featuring young hockey players and told the crowd, "I feel like a kid all over, man, you know". The parade traditionally begins at 77th Street and heads south on Central Park West to Seventh Avenue, before heading to MACy's. With emphasis always placed on popular culture characters and holiday themes, kids were thrilled this year with the return of Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story movies, SpongeBob SquarePants and Kermit the Frog.

She may be pop music’s biggest star but 25-year-old Lady Gaga is still very much daddy’s little girl.

The New York Post reports Gaga, born Stefani Germanotta, splits the proceeds from every dollar she makes—whether it’s from her music or other ventures, which include bars, boutiques, books and more—50/50 with her father Joe Germanotta, under their LLCs “Team Love Child” and “Mermaid Music.”

“There’s really no justifiable sense to doing a 50/50 deal with anyone in your career, other than someone you’re partners in a band with,” says Josh Grier, an entertainment lawyer. “Certainly no artist entering a management deal does anything close to that—a commission is usually 15 to 20 percent.”

Gaga is known for being extremely close to her family (Joe, mom Cynthia and teen sister Natali), still spending holiday weekends and as much time as possible with them in her childhood home on New York’s Upper West Side. Her father’s personality can be seen through Gaga: Joe was a rock ’n’ roll fanatic who loved Led Zeppelin and Billy Joel and often told his daughter colorful tales of having sex with girls under the boardwalk in New Jersey before he went to see acts lile Bruce Springsteen. When Gaga’s cocaine habit was spiraling out of control, she says it was Joe who looked at her and said, “You’re f*cking up, kid” convincing her to clean up.

“As much as I want the world to be happy,” Gaga said earlier this year, “I just want my dad to be proud of me.”

George Clooney to Play Steve Jobs in Upcoming Biopic?

Academy Award-winning actor George Clooney is reportedly being considered for the role of Steve Jobs, in a biopic on the life of the former Apple Inc. co-founder. The as-yet-unnamed project will chronicle Jobs' life and career, up until his death pancreatic cancer at the age of 56.
However, Clooney, 50, is not the only actor in the running. According to an unconfirmed report by Britain's Now magazine, Noah Wyle (a former co-star of Clooney's on the long-running medical drama "ER") is also vying for the coveted role.
The magazine also reported that filming of the biopic, which will be made by Sony Pictures, is likely to start next year, which indicates that decisions on the cast need to be confirmed, sooner than later.
Sony bought the movie rights to Walter Isaacson's biography on Jobs, according to a Los AngelesTimes report. The report also stated that "Social Network" writer Aaron Sorkin was among a short list of screenwriters considered.
Of course, all these speculations could prove to be false. If they are true, however, then the competition between Clooney and Wyle may prove intense. While Clooney is the bigger name (with a number of remarkable performances in films like "From Dusk Till Dawn", "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" and "Syriana", Wyle already has experience of playing Steve Jobs.
Wyle played the role of young Jobs in the 1999 television biography "Pirates of Silicon Valley", which was based on the book "Fire in the Valley: The Making of The Personal Computer" by Paul Freiberger and Michael Swaine. The book dramatized the rise of the personal computer and also dealt with the rivalry between Jobs' Apple Inc. and Bill Gates' Microsoft Corp. The latter's character was played by Michael Anthony Hall. Wyle was even invited by Jobs to the 1999 Macworld convention, where he also mimicked the Apple co-founder.
Ever since news of Sony's purchase was made public, a number of names have been bandied about, for the roles of the younger and older Jobs. The top contenders for the late Apple Chief Executive Officer's role include Robert Downey, Jr., Ashton Kutcher, Christopher Walken, Sasha Baron Cohen, Gerard Butler, Liam Neeson, Ryan Reynolds, Christian Bale, Daniel Radcliff, Ben Stiller, Leonardo DiCaprio, John Malkovich, Ryan Gosling and even Steve Buscemi, the Christian Post reported.

Well, it’s official. After much speculation about infidelity, our favorite May-December romance with Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore is kaput. But did those affairs that Ashton reportedly had signal a no-turning-back end to the marriage?

In 2010, we started hearing tales of Ashton’s extramarital affairs. First it was Brittany Jones, who claimed she and Ashton “made love on the couch” one day when Demi wasn’t home. Then, earlier this year, we learned that Ashton got drunk and had sex with another woman, Sara Leal, who subsequently sold her story to Us Magazine.

When many Hollywood couples split, there is often a joint statement issued about how much they still respect and cherish one another, etc. But not this time. Demi made sure she was the one to issue her own release to People, stating:

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton… As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life. This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation.

This solo statement has reporters thinking it confirms there was, in fact, infidelity in the marriage. Not that the reason for their breakup is anyone’s business, but it’s a little sad that this relationship didn’t work out. Women everywhere were inspired by Demi when she and Ashton started dating because she showed us that age didn’t really matter. But just a few weeks ago, the Today show panelists speculated that this very thing–age and “gravity”–could be to blame for Ashton’s disloyalty. Regardless of the fact that Demi still looks hot at age 48 today, let’s be clear: A woman’s body is never to blame for her husband running around with other women. Some guys are just destined to be assholes. It’s worth remembering that even couples who are the same age cheat on each other too. And sometimes divorce after infidelity is just non-negotiable.
