Blue Ivy Carter Has A $1 Million Per Year Subterranean Nursery

Blue Ivy Carter, she of the powerhouse parents, designer wardrobe, million dollar nursery, and frequent yacht trips, reportedly has a swanky suite beneath the newly-built Barclays Center in Brooklyn to pass the time in style while mom Beyoncé and dad Jay-Z dominate the stage upstairs.

Jay is a part owner of the Brooklyn Nets, the basketball team which calls the stadium home, and both he and Queen Bey have taken the mic at the stadium since it opened in September. According to Us Weekly‘s source, along with the lavish space he keeps upstairs to entertain friends, “Jay rents a luxurious basement suite for $1 million a year. It has an area for Blue filled with toys.” But of course.

We just wonder whether the Kimye baby will be invited down for play dates.

A source paints a tale of extravagant décor that, in theory, sounds glamorous, if unsafe for toddlers: “It’s all glass with a champagne bar and TV screen.” (Considering the champagne-tower-adorned motif of the 40/40 Club, the Manhattan club that Jay-Z co-owns, we are not surprised.) Elsewhere in the suite, Blue Ivy has her own area, which is “filled with toys” and presumably less champagne and glass.

It’s uncertain what four-star accommodations Blue Ivy will book next month when her mother performs in the Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans.
